bareMinerals

Hiya Everyone,
Sorry that I've not posted in a while, I am away on a holiday down in the South of England to see my Auntie and Uncle number 3. Yesterday we visited the quirky streets of Brighton, I love Brighton there are so many cool and weird places there that you wouldn't find on your typical high street, it is so worth taking a visit if you like to try new things.

Love these bags <3
While I was there beauty mom and my auntie treated me to a bareMinerals makeover. It was AMAZING!!! We were immediately greeted warmly by one of the make-up artist named Sam and she was lovely, very pretty and made me feel very at home with the compliments she gave me. We ask if she could give me a makeover and she said she was booked up but said she would be able to try and fit me in, in the time she had, and she did, I felt so special.
BareSkin liquid foundation
She let beauty mom and my auntie sit near me to watch was going on. She told me what we were going to do which was match my skin colour with a foundation, put some concealer on and do a little bit of contouring. She was great at telling me what was what and how to apply a certain thing clearly and I had a good understanding of it all, Sam even let me have ago at applying some of the make-up myself! After she finished I looked great, the good thing about bareMinerals products is that it has no harsh chemicals that can irritate your skin and it comes out with a really natural finish that covers all your imperfections. I couldn't help but feel how soft my skin was afterwards and that my skin also smelt great.
Purchases

This stuff was great and I couldn't help myself but buy the Stroke of Light illuminating concealer, which was £22, and I know that is quite expensive for a concealer but it is so worth every penny because it has a great coverage for under-eyes and spots. Also my auntie bought me a new box-set which contained the bareskin foundation, the finishing powder and the interesting foundation brush, all of this costs £29, so I think this would be a great present to get your teenage daughter or niece for her birthday or Christmas, they would love you forever and fall in love with these products.

Thank you Sam for the gorgeous makeover I would definitely go and see her for another again. But make sure you book a day before as they can get quite full!

Embrace Yourself

Hiya Everyone!
So today I wanted to talk about my Summer so far. Its actually been fun, but not all of it.
At the start of the holiday, I didn't have anything to do, and my so called "friends" started ignoring me and stop talking to me completely. I was quite upset and beauty mom new that I was down. The only thing I had planned to do, was getting my helix pierced with another friend. When that day came everything changed for me.

It became a regular thing hanging out with her, and we did the fun things, stupid things where we made plans to see each other but never actually did anything and just mess about. That friend I had lead to 3 more friends that lead to more friends and all of a sudden I was out everyday, with better friends than I've ever had!

I was looking back on the holiday because I've realized that these friends have made me  realize my true self and they have brought out the best in me, I haven't cared what I look like because I know that these people like me for me. I feel like I've grown up a lot and found my true self.
I've learnt I'm not perfect, that I can't be friends with everyone but I can be friends with the people who stick by me and I stick by them.
My life isn't perfect, then again, who's life is perfect, so you should embrace your non-perfect life and make it special.

Tampopo, Trafford Centre

Hiya Everyone,
So this weekend me and beauty mom had a girly weekend and today we went shopping in the Trafford Centre, we bought a lot!
Walking through the Shops

We had been shopping for 4 hours and were really hungry, so we decided to try somethingnew and went to an East Asian styled restaurant called Tampopo. We were immediately greeted by a small lady, who took us to our table and helped us with deciding what to have before we ordered which was sooo helpful. The service was so quick with the Thai prawn crackers and drinks.
For starters beauty mom and I shared Japanese pork dumplings, I don't really like dumplings but these were gorgeous and tasted like pancakes and with the soy sauce was a bonus.
Japanese Pork Dumplings
I then had Singapore Vermicelli Noodles, which was recommended to me by the waitress and it was unexpectedly delicious. It had a everything in one dish and a variety of colour, every bite was heaven, even though the noodles were a tad filling, it completed to dish amazingly. I even took some home for tomorrows dinner.

Judge Jess recommends to try the Singapore noodle when you go to Tampopo, and that you have to go to Tampopo

Waxing Legs or Shaving Legs

Hiya Everyone,
So us girls love to keep our legs hair free, but there is only two mains ways to do it, waxing or shaving.
Now shaving is so easy to do, wastes no time at all and leaves a clean, smooth finish. However when your leg hairs grow back, they become black and prickly, which isn't a good feeling, plus once you have shaved, the leg hairs come back within 2-7 days unlike waxing, the hairs comes back within 4-6 weeks!
Waxing your legs can be quite painful because it stings a little and many people who wax there legs tend to get a beautician to do it for them and that can cost quite a bit, at around £15 for half a leg, that kind of money isn't just lying around. Under the circumstances, waxing leaves a much smoother finish for a much longer time so you don't have to worry about them until the next month! Not only that, your leg hairs come back lighter and fair.
So to conclude, I personally would rather wax my legs because even though it is a little painful, it leaves a smooth finish for longer, and for the lazy person I am it is really ideal for me to wax my legs. I am very privileged to have a beauty mom who waxes my legs
for free, I know some can't afford it as it can be an expensive luxury.

Let me know which one you would rather do in the comments below, I'd love to have your opinions!! xxxx

Bills, Albert Docks Continued...

Hiya Everyone,
Well after that terrible drink at smugglers cove,
we went around the Albert Docks one more time and ended up going on a swan pedalo, and let me just say I haven't had fun like that in ages and I strongly advise to go on one when you see them, no question and it was really good exercise for my legs as my dad made me peddle it all by my self and  that was hard :D.
Anyways we decided to then have tea,
and we came across Bills a gorgeous garden themed restaurant just across from the docks... Oh my goodness it was amazing!!!
IT HAS THE BEST PINK LEMONADE EVER!!! I LOVE IT!!! MY FAVE DRINK!!!
Words cannot describe how lovely this place was from the welcoming waiters to the amazing foods all was sooooo... Wow!
We sat down outside however it got a bit chilly and my dad became a dumping station for a seagull, straight away the waiter came to help with the mess and took us to a cute booth inside.
For my main I had the most delicious and unique, halloumi and hummus burger with little homemade fries... it was perfect, i could taste every flavor that was in my burger. It had a sweet taste from the amazing sun-dried tomatoes and a smooth and rubbery texture put together by the halloumi and hummus. The halloumi was perfectly grilled, all in all a sensational dish. I am definitely going there again especially for the pink lemonade.
New, favorite, restaurant!!

Judge Jess strongly advises to go here especially if you like mezes! I could so talk about how great this restaurant is but you wouldn't get a chance to book a table.

Albert Docks, Liverpool- The Smugglers Cove

Hiya Everyone!!!
So yesterday me and my family went out to the Albert Docks and let me just say it was so sunny and beautiful. We had been walking around for ages, we were so tired we really needed a drink. We came across The Smugglers Cove and thought it was great place to stop and have a refuel. It was a pirate themed restaurant so my little brother immediately wanted to go in and there was also a bar so it looked fine to stop and have a rest. We walked straight up to the bar not realizing there were a few waitresses stood in the corner, so one of the them rushed up to us and said "are you eating," my mum said no we were just getting a drink so the waitress said that's fine but children aren't aloud to be at the bar, my mum knew this and started to feel uncomfortable and so did I, so we went off and tried to look for a seat. At first my brother chose a horrid place to sit which was on really high chairs in the middle of the room, so me and my mum said we are going to sit on this picnic like table in the corner however another waitress ran over and said we couldn't sit there and told us to sit on the table my brother choose (and the restaurant wasn't even full and the other waitress said we could sit where we want)
At this point all of us felt as welcome as a turd in a swimming pool, as we felt all eyes were on us and the staff were extremely rude. As we were drinking our flat and nasty drinks, the same waitress came over and said "Since yous ain't doing anything, and sat in my section, can i get yous anything" which was a polite way of saying hurry up, drink your drinks and please get out. As we were only having a drink they made us feel super uncomfortable and we were going to have tea there but we decided that there was no point if we were going to be treated like that.

I hate to start my first ever review badly but it was truly disgraceful the way they treated us I have never been so appalled in my life!!

Judge Jess says don't ever go here, it really needs new staff or staff training in costumer service!! They really are letting the restaurant down!!
